The AUC are hosting an inclusive conference for all agricultural PhD students this November.

Posters encouraged (with prizes for best poster).

Join us for the first inclusive cross-disciplinary student conference for agriculture, involving:

  • Networking with peers, academic leaders & industry experts

  • Learn about careers in agri-science

  • Advice on communicating research

  • Poster competition

  • Student speed talks ('3 Minute Thesis')

Student pre-conference dinner and showcase

Monday 13th November

Coming to Exeter the day before? Students are invited to an informal dinner in a friendly, social setting ahead of the conference the next day. The evening will include the chance to give a '3 minute thesis' about your project.

Places for dinner are limited so early booking is advised. Make sure you add the dinner option to your main conference booking on Eventbrite.

Stay on for the Nuffield Farming Annual Conference

Students are encouraged to stay on and join the Nuffield Farming Annual Conference at the same venue Sandy Park from the 15th November.

The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust invites delegates from the RAU PhD Agriculture Conference to join this year’s Nuffield Farming 'Super Conference', to be held at Sandy Park in Exeter from 15-16 November. 

 

More than 30 Nuffield Farming Scholars will present findings from their international study tours, covering a wide range of timely subjects including regenerative farming, renewable energy, carbon farming, industry reputation, alternative proteins, robotics, seed breeding, leadership, animal health, and much more.
