University of Reading take over the Chair from Newcastle after retirement of Professor Rob Edwards.
Rob hands the reins to Professor Simon Mortimer, University of Reading from January 2023.
Rob has been Chair of AUC since it's establishment, and has seen the collaboration grow from strength to strength.
Professor Simon Mortimer is Head of School for University of Reading's Department of Sustainable Land Management.
He takes over at a time where the AUC are undertaking their first joint research strategy, completing in Spring 2023.
